This rental is the main floor of my home. There also is an apartment on the lower level which is rented by someone else. The main floor has spectacular westerly views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. There's a wonderful deck, with a gas grill, that is enjoyable to sit on even on a cool fall or spring afternoon.

The entire top floor of the home is yours. No one else will be using the top floor or entering your space. There is a locked door at the bottom of the stairs that separates the two spaces. The person downstairs is available if you need anything. We ask that after 10pm and before 8am you keep noise (music/tv/loud voices) to a minimum.

There is street parking in front of the house that is almost always available.

The main floor has two bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed. There's built-in storage in the room, with a walk-in closet designed by California Closets, a television with DVR and cable, and an en-suite bathroom with a custom tiled shower and heated floors. The bedroom has french doors that open to the deck. From the primary bedroom, you can wake to the sunrise.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed as well, a large closet with a closet organizer, and looks out on the front garden.

The hall bathroom has a jetted tub/shower combo with custom tile work and heated floors. There is a Bosch stacked washer/dryer in this bathroom.

There is a large home office, great for remote work, that looks out toward the Sound and the mountains. The office has a gas fireplace and a cozy sitting/reading area.

There is an open-concept dining room, living room, and kitchen. There is one step down to the dining room and living room, and the deck. The entire main floor of the house was remodeled in 2017. The kitchen is fully loaded with a 5-burner gas cooktop, oven, microwave, air-fryer, Instapot, blender, and toaster. I have all kinds of baking pans and dishes for making dinner and cookies. There are dishes and utensils for serving at least 8 people. There is also a beverage refrigerator. The living room boasts another television, again with a DVR and cable TV where you can stream your favorite shows. And there's another gas fireplace to keep you warm in the winter.

The house has central heat and air conditioning. The garden is maintained bi-weekly by a professional landscaper. Well-trained dogs are welcome. A cat does live downstairs in the apartment but no cats are allowed upstairs.

Edmonds is a delightful suburb, just north of Seattle. It has a lovely downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and the beach, all within walking or biking distance from my home. There's a summer art festival (usually Father's Day weekend), summer food/music festival, Oktoberfest, Halloween events, holiday events, and much more. The ferry to the Kitsap Peninsula is just over a mile away as is the Sounder train to Seattle and Everett.
